The Fringe Festival 2012 Express Rental
If your production team can load in/load out within a 2½ hour period and use community lighting plot with its available specials, the cost is $100 per 2½hr slot. EXTRA SPECIAL!! $450 for 5 slots of 2½ hours. AN ADDITIONAL SAVINGS OF $50 OFF FRINGE SPECIAL PRICES!! These slots may be broken up into whatever rehearsals/performances the production sees fit, using any open slots during run of Philadelphia Fringe Festival. Individual slots are booked on a first come/first served basis.
The Express Rental rules are:
* At the above rates, your production MUST load in and load out within your 2½ hour slot, regardless of the length of your show. In other words, if your slot is from 8pm to 10:30pm, you are not permitted to load in until 8pm, and you must be loaded out of the venue by 10:30pm. It does not mean that you can have a show with curtain up at 8pm or curtain down at 10:30. Out means out, not off stage. Most find a 50 or 60 min. show with minimal set and props fits comfortably, but quick and diligent loaders or improv troupes, etc. have squeezed in 90 minute shows. It is your call but under no circumstances will any production be allowed to run longer than its time slot, simply because another production may need to load in after you load out. If your show is too long or requires too much set up to fit within such a time slot, then you need to book a full-day rental at the regular rates, subject to availability.
* At the above rates, performers agree to use a community lighting plot with up to three available washes and up to five available specials. Productions also must provide their own qualified light/sound board operator(s) at these rates. If your production requires a unique light plot, there is an additional cost of $100 and it is only available for full-day rentals.
* We can provide an in-house tech person to run the sound/light board for an additional $25 per performance or rehearsal, for minimal cues on the community plot and five sound cues using sound cues provided by the production on CD. Tech rehearsal or cue-to-cue must be conducted on YOUR time.
* Productions must provide their own box office staff.
* Upon booking, a non-refundable 50% deposit is required. The remaining 50% is due prior to first load-in. You will not be permitted to load in your show until your rental due is paid in full. A $25 discount off the total price is available for any production paying the entire rental fee upon booking.
